PoliticsInColor.com – Digital Media Internship
We are looking for energetic, talented interns to participate as web journalists for PoliticsInColor.com, an innovative website offering broadband video news, blogs and commentary from a multicultural point of view. Since this is the nation’s most historic presidential campaign, PoliticsInColor.com launches at a time when the nation’s residents are focused on trying learn as much about the candidates as possible. While mainstream media may focus only on certain generic aspects of politics, the goal with PoliticsInColor.com is to offer readers and viewers a fresh, analytical and provocative approach to the stories
Interns will be part of a national PoliticsInColor.com News Network  (PCNN) where students will have the opportunity to write, produce, edit and publish video and text content for the fast-growing new site. Â
Working directly with PoliticsInColor.com’s veteran team, interns will be expected to produceÂ
 Interns also will have the chance to write news stories and shot photographs to illustrate stories of local, regional or national significance.Â
Requirements
·        Print/broadcast/journalism experience.  Journalism/Broadcast/Electronic News majors preferred, but not required.
·        Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
·        Solid grasp of grammar, spelling, punctuation and AP Style.
·        Comfort in using digital equipment, such as digital voice recorders, video and still cameras.
·        Experience with Final Cut Pro/Final Cut Express, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, SoundSlides.
