We are looking for energetic, talented interns to participate as web journalists for PoliticsInColor.com, an innovative website offering broadband video  news,  blogs and commentary from a multicultural point of view.  Since this is the nation’s most historic presidential campaign, PoliticsInColor.com launches at a time when the nation’s residents are focused on trying learn as much about the candidates as possible.  While mainstream media may focus only on certain generic aspects of politics, the goal with PoliticsInColor.com is to offer readers and viewers a fresh, analytical and provocative approach to the stories America is talking about.    Most importantly, PoliticsInColor.com is setting out to provide the most timely, credible and accurate information using a medium that has become broadly accepted as one of the most used sources for news compared to daily newspapers, network and cable television.

Interns will be part of a national PoliticsInColor.com News Network  (PCNN) where students will have the opportunity to write, produce, edit and publish video and text content for the fast-growing new site.  

Working directly with PoliticsInColor.com’s veteran team, interns will be expected to produce  1:30 to 3 minute webcasts, initially on a weekly basis, but ideally on a daily or three times a day basis.  Additionally, interns will be able to shoot packages and mini-docs that would reflect newsworthy local/regional stories or develop local/regional angles to major national stories or issues.

 Interns also will have the chance to write news stories and shot photographs to illustrate stories of local, regional or national significance.
